The iconic music of Horace Silver, composer and pianist is presented by the Cape Jazz Crew in this year’s installment of Jazz Giants.

The Jazz Giants series features meticulous recreations of iconic jazz recordings of the late ‘50s and early ’60’s. Horace Silver was perhaps the most influential jazz composer and pianist of this era.

The Cape Jazz Crew is Joe Mongelli, trumpet; Peter Murray, saxophone; Matt Hutchinson, piano, Michael Ryle, upright bass and Christian McCarthy, drums.
